How would you live your day-to-day lives if you didn’t have technology? Think about it—no landline, no mobile phone, computer or laptop? It would be hard to connect with friends and family these days. What if you lost your job due to no fault of you own in this downturn economy, what then—how could you look for a job, receive job offers or even know where to go for an interview?
This is the reality of many people whose unemployment has ran out, or their savings has been depleted, due to joblessness for six months or more. If you found yourself without a way to figure out how you can stay connected, there are services that can help.
Community Voice Mail National is a service that can help you in your time of need. It’s a great service where you get a personal voicemail box to stay connection with others.
If you know someone that has no community tools like a phone, please help them by giving this information to them. This could be the very thing that gives someone hope and a fresh start.
Join the community on Facebook and understand how you can help. Donate, volunteer, and assist others to get back on their feet. Together, we can make a different, one tool at a time.
