COMMUNITY VOICE MAIL is a groundbreaking transfer of technology for persons out of touch and out of the economic mainstream. It provides them with 24- hour access to telephone messages they might not otherwise receive from potential employers, landlords, case managers, and loved ones. CVM is the power tool that help people conduct their business with dignity, drive, and motivation.
From June 1999 To June 2005, the Philadelphia Community Voice Mail program served over 4060 homeless and phoneless people in partnership with 89 agencies.
