On February 14, 2008, Community Voice Mail became available in Tulsa, Oklahoma! Hosting the program is the Tulsa Day Center for the Homeless, Tulsa Counties' only daytime shelter for people who are experiencing homelessness.  The Day Center offers many services, including case management, a night shelter, restrooms, showers, toiletry items, laundry services, clothing, life skills classes, and onsite medical triage. And now they will offer CVM to their own clients, and to clients of other agencies in Tulsa.

100 served in Tulsa
On April 25, 2008 CVM’s newest site, the Tulsa Day Center celebrated the distribution of 100 Community Voice Mailboxes to clients.

Golden Phone Award
The 2008 Golden Phone award for outstanding CVM supporter went to Lynn Schusterman, Chair of the Charles and Lynn Schusterman Family Foundation in Tulsa, Oklahoma for her enthusiasm and generosity instrumental in launching the Tulsa, OK site. Read more here.
